Pelosi advises the Republicans


Just for the record I support the Immigration bill, but does anyone else find the headlines like the following a bit odd?

Pelosi says Republicans need immigration reform to win presidency again

Does Pelosi really want to help the Republicans?

    No. But she doesn't mind annoying them in the process. I think that there is a little truth in what she says, and I think that she wants to make Republican supporters of Immigration reform seem self-serving. ...a little "damned if you do and damned if you don't", in a way.

    However, I think that the most of the voters have too short of a memory and are too self-serving for it to matter
