Choices

Old professor’s advice to a new faculty member:
There are two groups of people in this place.
Those who try to get things done and
Those who try to get credit for getting things done.
I recommend that you join the first group.
There is less competition there.

    Just to blur the lines between right and wrong a little bit.

    As a consultant my business model is to do the best job I possibly can, and be sure that my sponsor (client) gets the credit. They look good, I get invited to do more work, I take the money to the bank.
