a race based society

If you think that there is no one who wants to have a society in which race is the defining characteristic on a permanent basis consider the following:

"To say that we should get over race is like saying democracy should get over having elections."

  1. 1. People can be grouped by race.
    2. Groups generally try to further the interest of the group.
    3. Our federal government is replete with benefits for special interest groups.
    4. Special interest groups have a negative incentive to become “not special”.
    5. Race based groups may be special interest groups.

    7. Caleb may not be wrong.
